The candidate must be effective in influencing leadership across customer service operations, technology teams, multiple support teams, multiple carrier partners, and senior leadership.Job SpecificsContinual standing and/or walking an average of 5 miles daily.Availability to work in construction/distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, unheated, and not air-conditioned.Availability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.Key Job ResponsibilitiesReview the operational forecast and determine productivity requirements for sort operation, managing a team group to meet all building's goals.Support all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and Delivery service providers.Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.Route shipments within the AMZL coverage area.Support and assign job duties to process assistants.Ability to adapt to sudden changes and growth according to operational necessities.Track & monitor sorting operation and driver's dispatch.About The TeamAmazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers.
