Overview:Element has an opportunity for a **Shipping and Receiving Analyst** to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Analyst position performs a variety of routine and non-routine task assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate task results under Manager supervision. The Analyst positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.**Responsibilities**:- Entering descriptions of received materials into the Lims database- Filling out chain of custody documents- Issuing tracking numbers to all samples received by the lab and maintaining trace-ability- Loading and unloading incoming trucks with a forklift- Creating shippers, UPS and FedEx package labels, as well of Bills of Lading for incoming and outgoing materials- Classifying jobs according to Trade Compliance rules and regulations- Keeping the Receiving area clean and neat for incoming Drivers- Cataloging scrap materials for disposal after 60 daysSkills / Qualifications:- Ability to use Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Internet Explorer)- Ability to interface with customers and converse professionally over the phone- Some forklift experience (not required)- Attention to detail- Ability to read and write descriptivelyThis position spends 50% of each work day outside unloading trucks and moving materials.
