JOB DESCRIPTIONIf you are a Sales, Inventory, Operations & Planning (SIOP) professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting role for you! This role will be responsible for the development and implementation of product planning and process forecasting for Discrete Automation, Americas. The role will handle the demand risks identification to build contingency plans, collaborate in Global Demand planning projects and manage the SIOP planning including the continuous process improvements.In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Develops and implements effective product planning and forecasting process which includes re-engineering and automation of manual process.Collaborates SIOP process to ensure that it supports customer delivery and revenue requirements.Identifies key demand risk and incorporate into contingency planning and improves the quality of information flow between Sales teams and Supply Chain.Supports Global Demand planning strategy effort in implementing the DAUT Supply Chain Strategies.Plans and provides appropriate supports to Global Demand planning projects.Manages SIOP planning processes and ensures continuous processes improvements.Facilitates AP monthly SIOP Planning meeting and participates in POR and Projects meeting.Coordinates with Sales & Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Support, Finance and affiliate Countries to gather necessary information.Maintains procedures and document processes to ensure system accuracy and integrity.Ensures compliance of workplace safety rules, including but not limited to the usage of a personal protective equipment, if provided to you, while working; not involve in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger peers or oneself; reporting unsafe work conditions and providing suggestions to improve safety/health at work, as needed.Who You Are:You take action quickly and critically in fast paced and unexpected situations.
