**Dow has an opportunity for a **Site Logistics Engineer** **based in Tlaxcala (MEX) that will be responsible for **Site Logistics operations.

**Responsibilities** and Duties**:

Executes site logistics knowledge, technical expertise and operations experience to assist in correcting process or equipment issues which** **Improve process performance and reliability.
**:
- **
Understand all applicable process technology, equipment, and control technology.
**:
- **
Work with technical advising and logistics operations personnel to execute and optimize operations.
**:
- **
Participate in advanced troubleshooting and coach others to learn these skills.
Implement best practices.
**:
- **
Ensures Most Effective Technology (MET) and specific operating discipline requirements are in place.
**:
- **
- **
Utilization and package/deliver low cost, quality products.
**:
- **
Initiate changes (MOC) to operating procedures to ensure that they are valid and up to date.
**:
- **
Network with other engineers on site and within the global business to leverage knowledge on logistics operations.
**:
- **
As required, communicate technical information and issues to plant personnel, technology, or expertise centers.
**:
- **
Participate on and lead teams in his/her area of responsibility.
**:
- **
Manage the budget of site logistics and search for savings.
**:
- **
Responsible for KPI's.
**:
- **
Work to reduce number of QN related to site logistics.
**:
- **
Follow up to unplanned events and work with external logistics to investigate root causes and actions to repetitive issues.

- **
Responsible for Inventory Management following Cycle Counting process.

**Required qualifications**:
- **Bachelor's degree **in Supply** Chain, Engineering or related Sciences**.
