Site Manager is responsible for overseeing planning, implementation, and progress monitoring of the site activities for specific projects during the phase of installation, start-up and commissioning and lead the team of E80 experts and contractors on site, while ensuring the Company delivers the best achievable customer experience and satisfaction for our Clients.
Site Manager is the first point of contact for our Client for any issues arising during the site activities related to installation, start and commissioning of E80 solutions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide to E80's Customer and to Field Management daily reports with activities completed during the day, activities planned for the following day and resources assigned to each activity, including mid and long term planning in order to execute and complete the phase of the project related to site activities.
- Provide to Field Management, in a daily basis, the resource schedule for the field activities phase until project completion
- Schedule, coordinate and manage the E80 employees and contractors/vendors in order to accomplish the field engineering project tasks/jobs.
- Keep the SiteLog document always updated and upload it on the shared folder on the server, once a week
- Keep a professional communication with the customer, making sure everyone involved in the project is very well informed and aligned with activities on site and their impact to the normal mill operations
- Keep a record of any delay, time lost or extra cost, that might be charged to the customer and making sure the customer is aware of these time lost
- Provide to Customer and to the Field Management, weekly updates to the Microsoft Project time plan and update the document with the Key Dates & Activities to the end of the project (or through the next project phases, in case of big projects)
- Weekly monitor technical bulletin tool, in order to prevent issues on site and keep trace (and eventually help) of issues on other projects
- Make sure appropriate job orders are given to resources on site, including sub-projects, integrative orders and warranties
- Monitor and report System Performances, with appropriate analysis of the data collected
- Responsible for managing the field engineering budget by scheduling activities and resources with the target of saving as much as possible of the assigned budget. Any budget issue must be raised as soon as possible to the Field Director and the PM
- Oversee if E80's employees and representatives on site follow the safety rules
- Responsible for making sure the system performs as required in a full safe mode, as per guidelines given by E80 Safety Dept.
- Responsible for the Commissioning & Training document (Ready To Run) to be signed off before to leave the system or the machine to the customer without E80 representative on site
- Responsible for organizing the Stress Tests of the system, in order to evaluate the peak performances that the system can reach and all improvement opportunities. Stress tests needs to be agreed with the E80 system engineer and the PM, who will also provide the targets for our tests. Stress Test needs to be performed prior the Final Acceptance Test
- Oversee the Final Acceptance Test and all involved procedures. One or more FAT needs to be performed, with the target of proving all contractual Functionalities are implemented, contractual reliability for the system is reached and contractual performances are also reached
- Responsible for making sure that the company did everything possible to well perform and pass the Final Acceptance Test
- Oversee the Handover process
- Responsible for keeping and updating an Open Item List of the project
**Requirements**:
- An associate degree in an industrial field. Significant technical professional experience in the industry of packaging, tissue or material is required in lieu of formal education
- Min 2 years of experience to coordinate/lead teams for installation, start-up and commissioning of systems in either packaging, tissue or material handling industry (500K USD and above).
- Strong organizational and project management skills, in addition to technical knowledge is required
- Knowledge of industrial automation machines preferred
