**Description**SSP or Master Scheduler is a very important role to support the manufacturing plant and the Division to achieve its delivery performance, target lead time and inventory and capacity management objectives.Utilize the Molex Global S&OP Process to create a Rough Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) for assigned plants with the goals to identify, report, and drive correction of short term and long term capacity constraints as well as excess capacity.
Provide Data and Support in the Plant Supply Review Meeting.
Responsible for Developing and Implementing Key Strategic Planning Strategies and Reports including Delivery to CRD with Reason Code Analysis, Strategic Safety Stock, ATO / Component Planning Strategies, Planning Time fences, and the Capacity Investment Tracking Log.
Manage all aspects of plant Master Data as it relates to Supply Management.
Chair, the DSS DP/SP Balancing Meetings, as well as the Plant DSS S&OP Meeting**Manage delivery performance**- Develop the target service level for majority revenue parts- Create Detailed Delivery to CRD Reports with Reason Code Analysis for lates.- Recommend** **Strategic Safety Stock as required.- Suggest Advanced Planning Techniques (Planning Time fences, etc.)
to stabilize the master production schedule.- Chair the Monthly Plant DSS S&OP Meeting**Lead Time**:- Develop and Recommend Planning Strategies to Reduce Lead time to be competitive in the marketplace.- Develop ATO / Component Planning Strategies to Improve Delivery to CRD, and be competitive in lead time.- Develop and Align Lead Time Strategies based on Product Segmentation (MTS, MTF, ATO, and MTO) as well as the current Plant Capacity Situation.- Be the Voice of the Customer on Disparities between Lead Time Given and Published Lead Time to Help Drive the Right Focus with the Plant.
**Master Data**:- Review and Manage Lot Size Rules and Lot Size Quantities.- Based on Product Segmentation, Manage MRP Group Codes, and related Master Data.- Review Safety Stock Codes and Levels with the Global Inventory Manager
