**Job Summary**:
The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring quality in our operations.
This position is essential for driving productivity and reducing costs while collaborating with different departments.
**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation.
- Collect and analyze production data to make informed decisions.
- Develop reports and presentations in English and Spanish for senior management.
- Implement and monitor quality management systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Train personnel in process improvement and operational efficiency practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Plan and establish the sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble parts or products.
- Estimate production costs, cost-saving methods, and the effects of product design changes.
- Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace using CAD software.
- Understand and comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Coordinate and facilitate shop floor Kaizens to improve KPIs.
- Perform value stream analysis for the manufacturing plant.
Experiência y requisitos
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in electronic industry (SMT)
- Advanced proficiency in English (bilingual preferred); ability to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, etc.).
- Experience in project management and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, Asana, etc.).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Initiative and proactivity in identifying improvements.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
