Snowflake Developer

Job Description **Candidates can be remote in Mexico but must be located in CST.
**   We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Developer to join our growing team!
  Job Summary The Developer will be responsible for gathering requirements from the Client, analyzing the impact, developing the solutions and providing production support.
You will be working closely with our customer, Business users and the team members to understand the requirement, problem statements and provide solutions accordingly in a timely manner.
Need to adhere to the RRD and customer's security guidelines, policies and any other standards as applicable.
  Responsibilities Participate in the design and development of data solutions using Snowflake to support business requirements.
Conducting software testing (unit testing, integration testing, system testing) to identify defects and ensure software quality.
Conduct code reviews and collaborate with team members.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following best practices.
Analyze and troubleshoot system issues in a timely manner.
Research and evaluate software, software development tools and methodologies.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
  Qualifications Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering with of relevant work experience Must have 6+ years in Snowflake development Knowledge of InDepth SQL / SnowSQL is required.
Experience in developing models using open source (DBT or any open source) or with modeling tools In-and-Out clear understanding with Hands On experience in Data Warehousing Should be very strong in database concepts Knowledge in Agile software development methodology is required.
Knowledge in Microsoft ADF / Databricks is a plus.
Knowledge in PowerBI is a plus.
Experience in working closely with offshore teams.
Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to details Organized, proactive, adaptable, positive, creative and team player with ability to work independently Ability to handle/organize multiple complex technical projects simultaneously.
