Job Description: As the Social Media Marketing (SMM) Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working independently to create engaging content, manage our social media accounts Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and create new one in Reddit, Quora, Medium, Yelp and grow our engagement rate across those platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Social Media Strategies:
Create comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals.
Plan and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Content Creation and Management:
Write compelling and engaging posts for Reddit, Quora, Pinterest, Facebook, Medium, Yelp and Twitter.
Develop creative content, including graphics, videos, and infographics, in collaboration with the design team.
Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
Community Engagement:
Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build a strong online community.
Foster discussions, answer questions, and provide valuable insights on Reddit and Quora.
Monitor and respond to feedback on all social media channels.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns.
Provide regular reports on social media performance and suggest improvements.
Utilize social media analytics tools to refine and optimize strategies.
Growth and Optimization:
Identify trends and insights to optimize social media performance.
Develop and implement strategies to grow follower count and engagement rates.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing, content, and design teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
Collaborate with influencers and partners to expand reach and engagement.
Collaborate with Media Channels to get our Brand Citations and Articles placements.
Create Press Releases and distribute them to media channels
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
Expertise in managing social media platforms, including Reddit, Quora, Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter.
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create engaging and error-free content.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media data and metrics.
Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
