.Edelman Mexico is looking to hire an experienced Social Media specialist to join our team and support one of our global clients in the financial services industry.**This is a contract role working full time, 5 days a week and dedicated to the client account.**We are looking for someone with exceptional social media management experience, strong writing skills, ability to speak conversationally in English and fluency in Spanish, as well as project management skills. You will be able to generate content ideas, launch new channels, develop editorial calendars, manage communities, drive content strategy through data, and be a self-starter. Financial, or similar industry social media experience would be desirable but is not essential.- You may be required to work at their offices on certain days and fully navigate their working environment (physical and virtual).**Basic Qualifications**:- 3+ years of experience working in digital communications, including digital marketing, social media project management, community management.- Solid experience producing content for digital and social media platforms. Working knowledge and experience developing content for platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and other emerging social platforms.- A comprehensive understanding of online communication strategies- Strong research, writing, and editing skills- Data driven with experience in measuring analytics.- Proven ability to write Spanish marketing copy for social posts- Excellent presentation skills- Ability to create static visual graphics for social channels using pre-developed templates.- Ability to provide high level recommendations on paid media strategies, as needed.- Desirable experience with Sprinklr or another social management platform and systems such as Red Oak, OneDrive, Shared Drive, Box, CyberArk Vault, and JIRA is a plus.- BA in Communication, Sociology, International Relations, Public Relations, or related fields.**Key Responsibilities**:- Social media account management, full oversight of branded social channels- Creates original, attention-grabbing content (web, mobile, social media, interactive content, experiential, events, etc.), considering a daily 3,000-word output.- Communicates complex topics in a simple, compelling, and effective way to shifting audience personas.- Interviews experts and brand spokespersons to tell their unique, inspiring stories.- Optimizes content using SEO best practices.- Community Management, ensuring that content/conversations on social media channels are aligned with the appropriate category strategy- Drive growth and engagement to social media platforms through strategic guidance- Contributes to collaborative brainstorms and planning sessions
