We are pursuing a Softlines Category Specialist for Consumer Products Mexico to drive meaningful show awareness/buzz with more tangible, curated ways for fans to interact with our most popular content and, in effect, drive long-term revenue.THE ROLEThe Softlines Category Specialist (SCS) is responsible for developing and executing against a long-term business strategy for Mexico in the Softlines sub-categories: such as Apparel, Fashion Accessories, Health & Beauty and Home Goods. As part of the Mexico team, the SCS will be responsible for growing the CP business in line with divisional strategies and guidelines whilst leveraging a strong knowledge of the market according needs and opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying the best licensees to partner with, gain mkt support, drive innovation and quality product ranges, provide input into deals, accurately forecast and promote the retail sell-in of core ranges.**Key Responsabilities**:- With direction from the Licensing manager in Mexico, develop a clear growth strategy for each subcategory of business (including targets) and benchmark progress.- Identify opportunities and fill gaps by IP, product sub-category, consumer & market channel.- Negotiate the best deals and manage the process from contract to product development and execution.- Execute new business development pitches and identify scalable opportunities that generate impact and conversation (GAPs for new business opportunities). Collaborate closely with Merchandise Strategy teams to develop and update strategies for Global and local titles in Mexico and Nola.- Maintain and update internal systems and docs with category licensing plans and activity.- Collaborate with licensing partners to obtain placement updates.- Assist Licensing Manager Mexico with compiling licensing recaps following product launches. Handle daily tactical business needs in the back office, managing operational tools such as deal memos, contracts, NDA's obtaining approvals with producers and partners.- Work closely with Finance and ops teams with the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasting, and budget process as directed. Facilitate receipt of forecasts and send royalty payment reminders as needed
