Software Asset Management Specialist

Drive optimal use of software license investments, leveraging existing tools.Interact with employees via various support channels to resolve issues related to the licensing and compliant use of third party software at Oracle.Manage and assist with projects related to SAM across the global organization, focusing on minimizing risk and spend without impacting revenue generating business.Interface with outside vendors to examine specific use cases against published EULAs, vetting interpretations, documenting permitted usage rules, and maintaining an up to date repository of such information.Support internal and external software audits, coordinating across lines of business to determine risk and requirements.**Skills Desired**:- 3+ years of SAM, software procurement or related experience required.- A positive attitude, strong work ethics, and values that are aligned with Oracle which promotes a healthy, high performance culture.- Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to rapidly analyze, organize and present data in format appropriate for intended audience.- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across time zones.- Ability to independently prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating resourcefulness and smart time management.- Familiarity with industry leading software publishers, up and coming solution providers, and an in-depth understanding of software licensing terms and conditions is a plus.- Project and relationship management skills.- Advanced MS Excel skills.- ITAM or ISAM familiarity preferred.
