**What does a great Senior Software Developer Engineer do?**
- Applies advanced knowledge of development principles.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to improve delivery of daily work.
- Champions needs of customer community and user experience enhancements.
- Acts as technical point of contact for a subset of larger project.
- Actively engages in and readily adapts to software development engineering best practices.
- Enthusiastic participant in team-centric development practices.
- Provides tactical and technical support on tasks.
- Able to serve as both team member or team lead on different portions of work efforts.
- Shares knowledge with others and assists new team members.
**Who we are looking for in this role**:
- 5+ years Java Development / DevOps background.
- 5+ years of experience developing in an Agile team environment using iterative techniques. (Preferably SAFe)
- Informed team member who can exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures.
- Analyzing and Solving problems
- Maintaining and reading pre-existing code
- Experience using XML processing technologies like JiBX, JAXB.
- Experience with test-driven development (JUnit, Mockito).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
