As a Homie, you are a bar raiser, which means you come with:
4+ years of Mobile Software Engineering experience
Expert in Kotlin, Kotlin coroutines, and various common Android frameworks
Nice to have: Experience with Java and Jet pack components MVI & compose
Advanced understanding of object-oriented software design and design patterns, and how they apply to the frameworks listed above
Advanced understanding of performant code
Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
Testing framework experience - unit, feature, and integration
Knowledge of Jira, Git, Github, CircleCI, and development using pull requests.
Strong systematic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work from the office weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
As a Homie, you will make an impact by:
Designing, building, and implementing incredible software solutions that enhance the value of the Homebase software platform to impact the lives of our customers.
Driving product engineering end-to-end for the mobile to deliver value to our customers.
Contributing to the evolution of our current engineering strategy and development process.
Rapidly prototyping and iterating on ideas to validate assumptions and hypotheses.
Taking ownership of initiatives, measuring key metrics, and examining results to inform choices with your partners.
Embracing a mindset of continuous improvement, incorporating learnings from both successes and failures into future initiatives.
Championing a culture of innovation, collaboration, and a bias for action within the team.
