.JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition DescriptionThe Consumer & Dealer Experience organization is responsible for Ford Credit's external facing experiential application portfolio, supporting Ford and Lincoln vehicle sales through our financing and leasing business in North America.
The Dealer Experience team is responsible for implementing solutions to support our dealers throughout the loan origination and servicing processes.
Key products include Deal Optimizer, supporting automated analysis and restructuring of customer credit applications; Dealer Toolkit, Ford Credit's "one stop shop" enabling rapid access to critical transactional interactions with our dealers; and the Residual Equipment Tool, supporting Ford Accessory sales as part of the lease origination process.We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated full-stack Software Engineer to work as part of our high performing engineering and product team in an exciting and fast paced environment.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge cloud-native technologies including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Spring Boot, React, Cloud SQL and our enterprise Originations and Risk Management platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and enhance front-end user experience utilizing TypeScript, React, HTML, CSSDevelop and enhance back-end APIs and services, primarily using Java/Spring BootTroubleshoot and debug to optimize performance and stabilityIntegrate and work with best in class analysis tools to improve code security and qualityIntegrate with third party internal and external libraries and APIs as needed to deliver business functionalityInstrument, measure and monitor application performance using cloud native toolsets (Grafana, Splunk, GCP native tools and more)Working as part of an Agile team, support the entire application lifecycle from initial concept through design, development, test, deployment and operational supportCollaborate and innovate with multiple interfacing product teams in the Ford Credit and Ford Motor IT, Sales, Originations and Risk organizations to design and deliver complex integrations between multiple systemsAdvocate for engineering excellence, exceptional usability and outstanding quality
