The DNI Product team is experiencing increased demand for its data/services. To support that demand, the team is modernizing both the core applications to Angular and its legacy interfaces to use rest APIs and Google APIGEE. This position is an opportunity to work with a strong team within Ford on critical core applications across multiple technologies and provides an opportunity to modernize and shape the future of the Product.
- Experience with Java – Angular front end application development
- Experience and aptitude to work with Rest API's and a CICD framework to edit existing and create new complex API's using Springboot
- Complex data analysis and SQL skills to manage challenging data joins across multiple applications and global countries with varying Business Rules by market
- Create high performing complex SQL queries
- Develop, Test, & Deploy API's in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Supporting data for several applications and significant enterprise projects that will enable data-driven decisions to create a competitive advantage for the company
- Be a part of a Ford product team and collaborate with a Product Owner, Product Manager, Anchor, and software engineers
- Work with Business teams to understand requirements for PDO Backlog features and deliver ETL solutions with high business value using Agile
- Participate in PDO product team ceremonies such as Standups, Iteration Planning, Retrospectives, and Release Planning
Primary Skills Required:
- Experience with Java Angular
- Experience developing java Rest API's using Springboot
- Experience with Cloud Technologies (GCP)
- Experience with key development and deployment tools (ex. GitHub, & Jenkins)
- SQL/database experience involving multiple, complex queries
- Analytical experience of complex applications and data relationships
- Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills and able to work as part of a product team
- Strong written/oral communication skills

- Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans

Primary Skills Preferred:
- Business/Systems knowledge with respect to Marketing Sales and especially Dealer Systems is a plus,
- Experience with Security and Code Quality Tools (i.e. 42 Crunch, Checkmarx, CyCode, etc)
- Experience in extract, transform and load (ETL) development with Oracle
- Experience in working directly with PDO teams.
- Mainframe experience managing large and complex mainframe/cobol jobs with heavy ETL to manipulate data and create downstream extracts
- Ability to bring technical experience together with business knowledge
- Prior experience working with major programs/products involving multiple stakeholders or multiple regions
