.Responsibilities:- Administration of Kubernetes clusters deployed globally.- Contribute to all stages of software development lifecycle.- Identify and resolve technical issues including support escalations.- Create detailed design documentation and participate in code reviews.- Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review.**Requirements**:- Knowledge of Linux software packaging, distribution, and configuration.- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.- Experience deploying to and orchestrating containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).- Experience in configuration management tool such as Ansible/Chef.- Experience building, updating, and managing Docker Images.- Strong understanding of CI/CD Pipelines in a globally distributed environment using Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker registry, etc.- Experience building and updating CI/CD pipelines.- Experience with micro-services.- Experience with Ceph Software Defined Storage.- Strong in Python.- Familiarity with Frontend and Backend Web Development using Python(Django), JavaScript.- Scripting skills e.G., Bash.- Experience with deploying and managing micro-services using container orchestration platforms.- Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, Firewall.- 2+ years of recent hands-on development with DevOps/SecOps experience.- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or on path to become CKA.- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) is a plus.Preferred Qualification:- Preferred experience with one or more of the following:- Docker/Kubernetes.- Jenkins, Ansible or other CI tools.- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).**Why Cisco?**WeAreCisco.
