RIGHT NOW.**Title**: Software Engineer**Primary Location**: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León JD Shared Svcs-Monterrey**Function**: Engineering (CA)**Main Responsabilities**:- Implement tools & scripts for increasing efficiency and user experience in John Deere's OpenRTOS based embedded software development- Innovate and experiment to define the next generation of tools used by the entire embedded development community at Deere- Provide support to user community**What Skills You Need**:- Understanding of SW development (Preferred languages: C#, Python, C)- Understanding of object-oriented software- Understanding of embedded software development- Good written and verbal communication skills (English)- Knowledge on Linux- Knowledge on software development for embedded controllers**What Makes You Stand Out**:- Experience with CAN systems and CAN tools- Experience with DevOps practices and tools- Understanding of Systems Engineering principles- Advanced degree in and engineering discipline or computer science**Education (or equivalent experience)**:- Computational systems, IT Engineering.
