Your Role :
Aptiv is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for its Advanced Safety and User Experience products. You will be working with a team of other highly motivated software developers on various automotive technologies that enhance driver experience and have the power to prevent accidents and save lives.
Our embedded software engineers design, develop, and validate automotive electronic control systems, following Automotive SPICE (Software Performance Improvement and Capability dEtermination) compliant processes, to enhance vehicle safety and user experience.
In this role you will use your knowledge of hardware-software interfaces to develop Autosar compliant modules and Complex Device Drivers (CDD).
Your day to day will consist of the following :
Develop software for active safety production projects
Work closely with component teams on interfaces and dependencies
Design, code, and test real-time embedded systems with first time quality
Triaging of issues reported from stakeholders
AUTOSAR stack configuration using tools like Vector DaVinci
Your Background :
Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, or related field of study)
At least 6 months of work experience in Automotive Industry or Consumer Electronics
Bilingual proficient in English speaking / reading / writing
Interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a positive approach to challenge
Cross functional interests, ambitious and self-driven. Adaptive, comfortable with ambiguity
Ability to effectively manage several projects at once
Strong soft skills : skilled networking creation, influencing skills, constantly learning, positive and ownership profile
Familiar with hardware-software interfaces and Complex Device Drivers
Familiar with Embedded C on microcontroller architectures
Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications) :
Automotive Product Development Process knowledge (ASPICE, ISO26262)
Experience in one or more of Autosar BSW Modules stacks
Experience in RTE generation, make environments, multi-party SW integration
Experience in power moding implementation, factory-test software
Deep embedded triaging skills
