Software Engineer (Intern)

**Job Description Summary**: GEIQ is a leader in the generation of new technologies for the Aviation Industry in close interaction with multiple global sites. If you are interested in managing the software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation, creation of test procedures and code implementation this is the position for you.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- As Software Intern in the Defense and Systems Power Software team, you will work within different automation and verification projects developing utilities and scripts in both high-level and low-level programming languages like Python and C.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor student in last 2 semesters (Computer Science/Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics)
- Proven programming experience in embedded Software
- Excellent English communication skills
- Willing to learn new tools and new fields
- Ability to work in a global team
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to identify and implement automation opportunities.

**Desired Characteristics**
- Knowledge of software engineering practices & processes for Embedded Software life cycle, including Code Standards, configuration management, build processes and testing.
- Experience with Agile SCRUM Methodology
