Roles and Responsibility
PositionSummary: ASoftware Engineer at ARCOS works collaboratively on the agile development team,providing software engineering expertise to design, develop, and deliverhigh-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will prioritizequality and is committed to improving our codebase's security, scalability,readability, and testability. Duties and Responsibilities · TechnicalLeadership: Design and develop software that aligns with the needs ofARCOS's customers and strategic goals. Advocate, evangelize, and set standardsfor code quality and best engineering practices (e.g., clean code, designpatterns, code reviews, and unit testing).
· Teamwork: Workcollaboratively with team members across different departments, contributing tothe collective knowledge and ensuring project success. Share knowledge andinsights with team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
· Execution& Delivery: Operate within an Agile Scrum framework, activelyparticipating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, andretrospectives. Take full ownership of assigned tasks and projects, ensuringtimely delivery with a commitment to quality.
· ContinuousImprovement: Continuously educate oneself on modern paradigms andtechniques to improve your craft . Activelyseek feedback and continuously strive for improvement, showcasing a strongsense of accountability.
· Communication: Communicateeffectively with team members, sharing updates and asking questions as needed.
· All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Desired Education, Skills & Experience · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology ora related field (or equivalent work experience).
· 2-5 years experience with full-stack enterprise softwaredevelopment (UI, back end, API, database)
· Strong technical foundation in software engineering designprinciples
· Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving and analyticalskills
· Communicate effectively with technical and non-technicalaudiences, ability to explain complex technical concepts to peers
· Experience in Agile development and continuous integration anddelivery
· Knowledgeable in secure software development techniques andsecure testing methodologies
· Experience implementing various application architectures suchas multi-tenant, cloud-based, high-volume, and high availability.
· Experience delivering software across various Web and Mobileplatforms
· Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork,sharing knowledge, and building collaborative relationships. ARCOS Team in Mexico In2023, ARCOS set up its office in Mexico in partnership with Aeries – toconsolidate its global operations in Guadalajara, Mexico.
