**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**In this role, you will**:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of innovative, high-quality software products that contribute to electrification and decarbonization.
- Serve our customers by creating and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test scripts that ensure products meet business and technical requirements.
- Identify, log, and track defects in the bug-tracking system, ensuring issues are documented clearly and accurately, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Assist in the setup and execution of automated test scripts, working closely with the team to drive innovation in testing processes.
- Participate in QA planning, execution, and reporting on test results, taking accountability for the quality metrics and delivery of our software.
- Collaborate with team members across departments and geographies, contributing to a "one team" mindset to achieve shared goals.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish and English
- Legal authorization to work in Mexico
**Desired Characteristics**:
**Technical** expertise**:
- Experience with bug-tracking tools like Jira, ADO, or similar.
- Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress) or willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Basic understanding of scripting languages like Python.
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries.
