With innovation, quality and logistics as the backbone of the company, Sourceability's cutting-edge products and services expedite the procurement process across a wide range of industries, including communications/cellular, consumer electronics, and auto manufacturing.**About the Position**:The individual must be able to work with only general supervision, be comfortable communicating to all levels of leadership (both internal & external) and have developed Quality Engineering skills.This position is designated as remote but may require occasional business travel.**Responsibilities**:- Develop, implement and maintain software quality assurance standards and procedures.- Monitor software development processes and identify areas of improvement.- Establish and document test plans, test cases and test results.- Analyze system requirements and design specifications.- Identify and document software defects.- Provide feedback to software developers on defects and errors.- Monitor software performance and system reliability.- Prepare and maintain software quality assurance reports.- Facilitate/assist in the identification of root causes and associated corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance (via internal audit), support continuous improvement efforts, and participate/interface with the engineering and customers- Provide QA support for program peer reviews, audits, regression testing, & integration**Basic Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.- Extensive knowledge of software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.- Experienced in developing and executing automated and manual test scripts.- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma (LSS) principles- Proficient in defect tracking and reporting tools.- Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Root Cause Analysis methodologies and development of Corrective Action Plan.- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.**EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
