We are hiring a Part-time Quality Engineering Lead for a 12 months contract who will be a strong partner to our customers, guiding their teams on testing delivery best practices. Internally, you will also be responsible for communicating and contributing to the continuous development of the Quality Engineering Center of Excellence best practices, go-to-market approach, and overall client engagement best practices.
Job Summary Location: Anywhere AMER Contract Type: Part-time (20 hours per week) Contract Duration: 9-12 Months Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8.00 AM to 12.00 PM PST Must-Have Devices: macOS device with 16 GB of RAM and M1 Pro chip - latest macOS version, iOS device - latest OS version, Android device - latest OS version What Would Your Day Look Like Connect with an Engineering Leader from the client-side to share updates, plan next action items. Connect with internal stakeholders and share updates and timelines. Write and review automated scripts using the Playwright framework. Write and maintain a testing strategy document referenced by the leadership. Organize and allocate freelancers who will perform isolated tasks within the project context. What You Need to Succeed Minimum seven years of experience in technology consulting, including developing test automation solutions Minimum two years of technical team-leading experience Demonstrated experience with Playwright, Appium, and other frameworks. Hands-on experience in test script creation in TypeScript, Python, or other languages Hands-on experience in SDLC and agile methodologies Hands-on experience in testing large codebases with multiple subsystems Knowledge of how automation can be leveraged for different quality gates Previous experience in collaborating with different stakeholders and clients, and developing and maintaining client relationships Prior knowledge in test automation, automated testing, and CI/CD Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships Excellent verbal and written communication in English Be willing to learn fast and continuously expand your knowledge Team player, socially open-minded, empathetic, and considerate of cultural differences What is the Candidate Consideration Process We do our best to bring on individuals who will be excited about their role and have the potential for a great future with Testlio.
