Our STL manages a team of embedded software engineers and experts to design, develop, and validate Automotive Electronic Control systems, following ASPICE compliance processes, to enhance vehicle safety and user experience. You'll be building and working with a team of highly motivated embedded software engineers on various automotive technologies that enhance driver experience, have the power to prevent accidents, and save lives.Responsibilities:Identify and establish the key skills required for each of the roles needed within the team, together with their level. Make sure that the skills gaps are immediately addressed through appropriate formal and on-the-job training, internal transfers, or external hiring activities.Develop X-Skill Teams by:Being responsible for domain and/or feature delivery.Having a deep technical understanding of the team's work to ensure the correct technical solutions are being brought forward by the team.Promoting re-use among different feature teams.Focusing on the scrum team's execution to deliver work products on time, with high quality.Enabling the Scrum Master to continuously remove impediments that are blocking team performance.Driving Competency Excellence and Building Quality Into Practices – supporting the quality through appropriate infrastructure & resources.Ensuring consistency in applying Agile principles using the Aptiv standard toolset.Evaluating & managing people performance through periodic Talent Review Sessions.Supporting the Engineering Team Manager (ETM) in Budget & Capital forecasting and Planning.Supporting ETM in forecasting & planning the staffing.Supporting ETM in hiring best-in-class, motivated, engaged employees.Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline (electrical, systems, computer science, software).5-8+ years of experience with embedded software.2+ years of experience as a SW Product Owner, SW Project Manager, or Technical Lead position.Exhibiting advanced professional interest in people management.Familiarity with Automotive SPICE or similar SW development process models.Ability to set and monitor goals and provide developmental feedback.Ability to work in complex, matrix organizations.Knowledge of, and ability to use visualizations & metrics dashboards to convey key messages.Courage to conduct critical conversations.Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Self-driven, detail-oriented, and well organized.Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):Master's degree in engineering discipline (electrical, systems, computer science, software).Prior experience in managing Budget & Capital Planning.Ability to work in an international, fast-paced environment
