The intern will assist, receive guidance, and learn from more experienced SW Engineers to perform manual testing as well as writing automation testing (Desired) to maximize productivity and quality.**What you will be doing**:Your typical day as a Toshiba **Software Test Engineer Intern - HW Drivers **will involve:**Responsibilities**:- Understand customer requirements to create test plans.- Elaborate test cases.- To provide proper effort sizing of testing activities.- Execute manual testing.- Design and execute automation test cases (desired).- Collaboration with development team to recreate issues and validate fixes.- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirements team meetings- Setup testing environment (HW configuration)- Report defects and track defect resolutions- Communicate status and identify project risks.**Naturally To be successful in this role, you must have and know of**- Currently pursuing Computer Science/Engineering major in Undergraduate or Postgraduate studies- Responsible, organized, and hard working with excellent communication skills.- Teamwork and excellent communication skills.- Operative Systems, Linux, Windows, and Android.- English: Fluent (Capacity to read, analyze, correct, and write)**Preferred Skills**:- ISTQB Certification.- Experience as software tester. (desired)- Knowledge on Agile software development- Programing skills.- Experience with: Test rail, Postman, Accurev.- Java testing / Cucumber / Selenium.- Experience working with HW
