DNV's SEMELA Solar & Storage Team is growing quickly to meet the region's expanding demand for expert solar and storage advisory services. We support utilities, regulators, developers, owners, and lenders with feasibility studies, technical due diligence, conceptual design & procurement support, and independent technical advisory services for either owner, lender, or off-taker/procurer/regulator.In this role, you will have a dual responsibility, focusing on helping deliver solar and storage-related projects and being involved in the service portfolio development and maintenance through internal development projects and initiatives. Additionally, you will support business development activities for energy storage-related opportunities in the Central American region, being the first point of contact for customers with energy storage projects.Most of the work will be desk-based, but (national and international) travel for on-site and customer visits will be required at times (estimated at 5% to 20% of your time, depending on the projects you are involved in).You would be the technical expert supporting your colleagues in the team with your knowledge of energy storage technologies, technical due diligence, conceptual design, technical specifications, procurement support, EPC/O&M contract review, design review, construction progress monitoring, testing, and commissioning across the SEMELA region
