We are 29,000 strong, working together across 1,500+ pet care centers, 250+ Vetco Total Care hospitals, hundreds of preventive care clinics, eight distribution centers and two support centers.**Essential Job Functions **_The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities _w_ith or without a reasonable accommodation._- Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the infrastructure design- Evaluates existing or proposed systems and business requirements to develop solutions and technologies to solve the business need within the Enterprise Reference Architecture.- Coordinates architecture implementation and modification activities. Assists in post-implementation and continuous-improvement efforts to enhance performance and provide increased functionality. Ensures the conceptual completeness of the technical solution.- Analyzes the current architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements. Identifies, and when necessary, proposes variances to the Enterprise Reference Architecture to accommodate project or business requirements.- Provides strategic consultation to business partners and IT teams. Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits, system impacts, and technology priorities.- Interacts and interfaces with support partners to ensure solutions are architected correctly.
