What will you contribute?_**
The Global Solution Consulting (GSC) team works with the various Finastra teams (sales, marketing, product management, professional services, and customer support) contributing to winning business in the marketplace. They have a wide range of both business & technical skills and competencies within their team, are highly involved in the pre-sales activities, demos, RFI and RFP management.
For our Payments team in the Americas, Finastra wishes to recruit highly motivated and performance driven individuals who will be responsible for proactively engaging with the sales teams, customers, partners and prospects to drive business opportunities in the region.

**Knowledge & Skill Requirements**
- Banking or Financial Technology experience strongly preferred, ideally in Payments product management, operations, and/or solution consultancy/presales
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including proven presentation skills
- Robust problem-solving and decision making skills. Ability to work as an individual contributor, manage uncertainty, perform under stress, and accommodate a dynamic work environment
- Self-starting abilities, including the ability to rapidly process complex information into actionable deliverables and proactively engage internal stakeholders for support as needed
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to make optimal split decisions in complex situations; work with clients, prospects, colleagues, and partners in a professional manner
- Preference for proven track record of sales or technical sales support, including end-to-end presales lifecycle (demand generation, supporting RFX responses, Proof of Concept execution, commercial negotiations support, handoff to Delivery).
- Proven ability to develop sales strategies (cross/up-sell, value selling) and effectively communicate recommendations to prospects, clients, and management
- Solid technical background including understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
**Experience Required**
- 4+ years working experience with banks, technology providers or consulting firms
- 3+ years Financial Industry experience in Payments, familiarity with some/all US payments rails and the underlying payloads
- Experience working on systems that process Fedwire, CHIPS, NACHA, EPN, SWIFT, TCH RTP and/or Zelle
- Proven track record of accomplishments and initiatives with demonstrated, measurable success
**Education Required**
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in Payments
**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with sales representatives throughout the lifecycle of the sales campaign, including exploratory meetings, consultative solution selling demonstrations and workshops, and gap analysis to ensure cross-team alignment in customer engagement and produce best-in-class winning solutions.
- Establish credibility with the client, analysis of the client's need and position the Finastra product modules and release features appropriately to ease the sales process and optimize the efficiency.
- Preparation of RFI/RFPs replies to assure the solution is presented according to the key criteria of the prospect/client.
- Create solution design documentation - both internally and externally.
- Ability to articulate the Finastra solution value statement and deliver it throughout the lifecycle of sales process - both internally and externally.
- Manage opportunity and bid qualification assessment and coordinate key internal stakeholders involved in the sales process.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell Finastra solutions to existing and prospective customers.
- This job involves short trips across the region.
**Work Environment**
- Finastra or virtual home office. Travel (30% on average) required.
