Applications will be open until October 30th We seek a Solutions Engineer with broad experience in Networking, Collaboration, Data Center, Security, and Software-Defined Technologies to partner with our Enterprise Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco product solutions through demonstrations and explaining features and benefits to customers and designing and configuring products to meet specific customer needs.
The Team gained access to the broad palette of Cisco technologies and applications in various vertical markets.
In addition to technological competence, and the ability to learn quickly and stay ahead of technology innovation, the ideal candidate's interpersonal, presentation, and troubleshooting skills evoke passion and confidence.
Role & Responsibilities:Direct account and partner responsibilities for Enterprise accounts.Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products, and services.Provide technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory.Experience in leading projects in big accounts.Perform technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects.Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.Actively participate as a specialist on the assigned Virtual Team and provide consultative support to other Systems Engineers in their area of specialization.Minimum Qualifications+7 years of related experience.Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in the technology area of emphasis required.Pre-sales experience is required.Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.CCNP, CCVP, CCIE, or Data Center Certifications are strongly encouraged.Knowledge and proven operating experience in one of the following areas of specialization: Unified Communications, Video, Campus LAN & WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Security, BYOD architectures, Data Center Technologies, Big Data, Analytics, SDN, Server Architecture, Virtualization, Programmability.Desired SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills.Ability to work optimally and contribute as a team member.Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills.Strong problem-solving skills: ability to assess a problem and settle an effective course of action.Availability to travel up to 50% to customer sites and corporate offices.Why Cisco? #WeAreCisco.
