As a tight-knit team of 4, we pride ourselves on collaboration, innovation, and delivering outstanding customer service.Your RoleWe're looking for a talented and motivated Financial Modeling Specialist to join our team.
In this exciting role, you'll create and enhance financial projection templates, provide top-notch technical support, troubleshoot spreadsheet issues, offer consulting, and recommend solutions to clients.
You'll work closely with the business owner and CPA, making a significant impact on our growth and success.What You'll DoDesign and build financial projection templates for various industriesDevelop small business financial management toolsImprove and update existing templates for better functionalityProvide quick, professional customer support for technical issuesTroubleshoot spreadsheet errors and guide clients through complex queriesAssist with consulting projects and provide insights for clients' needsSupport the CPA on complex consulting tasks, including model building and proofreadingRecommend the best templates for unique or complicated client requestsWhat We're Looking ForWhile not all of these qualifications are required, we'd love for you to bring:3+ years of experience in financial modeling and spreadsheet creationKnowledge of accounting (US GAAP/IFRS)Experience with financial statements like income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statementsExpertise in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including creating multi-sheet modelsMastery of complex formulas (e.g., If, SumIf, Index, Match, Array formulas)Ability to write simple macros in ExcelStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and customer service skillsExperience in consulting roles is a plusA collaborative, team-oriented mindsetIf you're passionate about financial modeling and want to make an impact in a fast-growing company, we'd love to hear from you!
