**This role requires bilingual proficiency in Spanishand English and is designed for professionals seeking to work full time in the United States.
****Key Responsibilities**:1.
Clinical Sonography:- Perform ultrasound imaging procedures, including pelvic ultrasounds (transabdominal and transvaginal), follicular monitoring, and first trimester obstetric ultrasounds as required.- Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate interpretation of imaging results.- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment as per protocol, ensuring compliance with clinic standards.2.
Clinical Technician Duties:- Order medications, monitor patient vital signs, and provide pre- and post-procedure care in compliance with clinical guidelines under physician supervision.- Assist with in-office procedures, including saline infusion sonohysterograms, egg retrievals,intrauterine inseminations (IUIs), and embryo transfers.- Educate patients about fertility treatments, medications, and follow-up care, ensuring clarity and cultural sensitivity.3.
Patient Coordination and Communication:- Act as a liaison between Spanish-speaking and English-speaking patients, ensuring all communications are understood and patient needs are met.- Provide compassionate care, answering questions, addressing concerns, and guiding patients through their fertility journey.4.
Administrative and Compliance Duties:- Document all clinical interactions, imaging results, and clinical notes in the electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.- Assist in maintaining licensure, certifications, and compliance with Nevada state medical and regulatory requirements.
**Required Qualifications**:- Certification as a Sonographer (e.G., ARDMS or equivalent).- Proven bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sonography and/or fertility-related nursing care is preferred.- Eligibility to work in the United States for up to 10 months per year, with the flexibility to return to your home country or other engagements for the remainder of the year.- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural competence, and the ability to provide care for patients of diverse backgrounds.
**Preferred Qualifications**:- Experience working in a fertility clinic or women's health setting.- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.- Familiarity with hormone therapies and fertility medications.
