.**Job Summary**:Incumbent support Sales Department and accounts to achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and goals. Work closely with the Sales Department to ensure high customer satisfaction. Provide support for customers by developing and maintaining relationships. Introduce and sell new products, improve service levels, and reinforce marketing initiatives as per sales plan.Serve as internal support for the Sales Department and collaborate to achieve or exceed Region's sales quota and goals. Work closely with the sales representatives to ensure high customer satisfaction. MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)- Works with the Sales Rep to implement and audit reporting tools that monitor the financial profitability of the customer engagement. Provides lost sales reports by product lines.- Contact leads that we receive in from our web site, our callers, suppliers etc. to assess potential on the account before taking any further action.- Monitors slow moving and dead stock as needed. Support the sales Force in the movement of dead stock identifying potential customers through QlikView.- Meets goals and objectives: revenue, performance, and quality.- Work directly with local manufacturer representatives to develop and continually improve product knowledge, arrive at most favored pricing, and improve account profitability- Support Sales Force in get SPQ'S or product alternative when low GM is identified- Support Sales Manager and Sales representative in SPQ, product alternative when low GM is identified, pricing issues and sales data analysis.- Proactively interacts with the sales rep to ensure regular communication on pricing and other customer concerns. Provides high-level, quality service, closely aligned with sales, to enable sales growth.- Follow-up on orders and quotes.- Helps to maintain and improve service levels. Provides ongoing service level satisfaction.- Acts as a backup contact for the customer if the Sales Rep is not available.- Assists with product shows, promotions, and product presentations.- Assists with the launching of any new products.- Assists to resolve customer issues, expedites back orders, handles return and special requests.- Prepare reports and promotional materials as needed (sample kits).- Assist with manufacturers and Avantor support people activities.- Provide support following up quotes, document control, filing and records maintenance, resolving open invoices/pricing, and forecasting, etc.- Responsible for maintaining metrics, and cost avoidance reports, etc.- Performs other duties as assigned
