The position will cover 35M of spend within Indirect Procurement, having specifcus within Engineering categories which includes outsourced design, prototypes, product testing, certification, and engineering consulting. The chosen individual will work closely with business partners to execute initiatives that will drive down complexity, including but not limited to ordering process improvements, supply base reductions, and scaled standardization of purchases across manufacturing sites.Your responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement sourcing strater assigned categories andsuppliers:
Develop and manage the business relationship between Whirlpool and its Suppliers of the assigned categories/suppliers, within our Global Strategic Sourcing organization (contract negotiations, supplier issue resolution, performance management, supplier cost reductions, purchase order creation, and management):
