Mauser Packaging Solutions is a global leader in solutions and services across the packaging lifecycle, providing packaging worldwide to companies in industries from food, personal care, paints and chemicals.As a Best Country Sourcing (BCS) Category Manager for Direct Materials at Mauser, your essential duties include:Develop and execute a Best Country Sourcing (BCS) strategy for selected spend categories that will evolve based on business needs. Direct spend categories include Steel based components and Plastic based components across multiple business units.Analyze and identify subcategories within Steel and Plastic categories as Best Country Sourcing (BCS) candidates based on total cost advantages.Collaborate with international team members to identify and develop potential BCS suppliers across the globe.Identify, develop, & execute savings opportunities including, but not limited to supplier consolidation, RFQ, fact-based negotiations.Lead the negotiation of a commercial supply agreement (i.E. contract) with suppliers included within the sourcing strategy.Collaborate with internal stakeholders (i.E. Operations, Quality, Engineering) in developing business cases to source from BCS countries while minimizing single source supply risks.Act as project manager and lead cross functional team to carry out project implementations.Foster collaborative and effective communication between supply base and internal stakeholders (i.E. operations, plant specific Purchasing personnel, quality, engineering, sales, etc…)This position will report directly to Mauser Chief Procurement Officer (CPO).Location: MexicoRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or Finance. MBA preferred.Experience in international or Best Country sourcing and tariffs codesExcellent in communication and ability to influence internal and external stakeholdersHigh Energy Level, Quick Learner, CuriosityStrong Desire to Achieve ResultsDemonstrated strong analytical skillset.
