About the role Established Commodity / Account Management & Strategic Sourcing professional.
Executes contracts in accordance with sourcing goals and acceptable service levels.
Analyzes supplier data and price proposals to ensure acceptable pricing, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
Key Responsibilities: Participates in negotiations for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies.
Executes purchasing and / or other commodity management activities.
Manages contracts in accordance with sourcing goals and acceptable service levels.
Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to help determine reasonable prices.
Researches suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.
Researches and consolidates buyer/market profiles to ensure database is administered and kept up to date.
Requirements University degree or equivalent A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position Experience in project management.
