Job Description Organization, Plan and Control Research, identify, and qualify potential vendors in South America to meet price targets and quality requirements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure a reliable supply chain. Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of new vendors. Utilize project management skills to drive initiatives and deliver results on time and within budget. Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks. Maintain a flexible approach to sourcing strategies to adapt to changing market conditions. Conduct site visits as needed. Communications Ensure effective communication both internally and externally within the plant and between departments. Hold regular briefings with all staff to keep them informed. Positive Employee Relations Create and maintain a teamwork environment. Ensure a great place to work site environment. Safety and Health Ensure that safety initiatives and policies are complied with and executed by your work team. Comply, enforce, and monitor the established safety programs such as Toma 5 and the 5's program. Quality Systems Comply with the applicable Reliance procedures update. Promote a culture of quality and compliance with regulations and regulatory systems. Academic Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Bilingual. Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing and vendor management, with a focus on South America. Solid project management experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors. Proficiency in analytics and data-driven decision-making. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and market conditions. Hard/Soft Skills High proficiency in Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Bilingual (English). Focus on the customer.
