**What You Will Do**
- Execute the plans made by Category Managers for the categories assigned.
- Drive improvement within Guardian's supply base focusing on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) over purchase price.
- Conduct reviews/negotiations with potential suppliers in alignment with our business objectives.
- Establish relationships with key supply partners to drive greater value for the business.
- Assist Guardian plants with issues that arises from sub-suppliers through negotiations, leveraging the commercial relationship and use of problem-solving techniques.
- Verify before closure of any sub-supplier issues any appropriate costs to Guardian are recovered.
- Assist Guardian functional areas such as Engineering and Product Development in developing/executing procurement plans to ensure flawless launch of new products.

**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Experience in sourcing and procurement.
- Working knowledge in a relationship developing role.
- Proficient in data analysis.
- Fluent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
- Willing and able to travel up to 10% within Mexico.

**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in the Glass industry.
- Proficient in negotiation.
- Experience solving quality issues and/or auditing techniques.
