Drive, develop and report activities to achieve overall cost productivity to businessRun market-tests, negotiate prices and terms with suppliersWork with R&D and Engineering team effectively to ensure the implementation of the VAVE measures. Initiate, develop and implement multi-year VAVE , Resource & Negotiation procurement strategiesPreferably experienced with Thermoplastics, Zinc Die Cast , Machining Brass & Steel components , Brass & Steel Foundries, Packaging , Fasteners, Gaskets ,Rubber categories.Operational activities including order placement, tool and delivery follow-up, quality escalations, KPI reporting and alignment with stakeholdersPrepare and present Sourcing Studies to managementFacilitate supplier workshops focused on supplier VA/VE, Lean and EDI that support divisions key productivity goals. This position is in charge of delivering cost reductions, avoidances, and most importantly value analysis / value engineering (VA/VE) improvement measures which result in higher efficiencies for each business partner associated within the spend areas assigned. Resulting savings will be recorded and reported to executive leadership. RequisitiosBachelor degree in Engineering or business economics.Minimum 5-year experience in Procurement/ Supply Chain.Commodity experience in Cardboard, Metals and Thermoplastics.Extensive experience in driving productivity through VA/VEExtensive experience in Contract Negotiation.Travel (25%) is required.Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is essential.3 YEAR EXPERIENCE SAP/BW/ARIBA and Procurement Transaction knowledge.Extensive experience developing category long term strategies.Fully bilingual in English required (oral and written)Work experience in Bath & Kitchen industry is preferred.
