The Supply Chain (SC) Sourcing Senior Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department with focus on procurement activities in coordination with the Corporate Services team. The overall objective of this role is to drive the seamless delivery of goods and services requested by company personnel in support of the company's business.
Responsibilities: Manage a team of sourcing analysts to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as act as backup Sourcing Group Manager when necessaryLead a cross functional team in developing/executing sourcing, supplier management strategies, and complex contract negotiationsDevelop standards, policies, targets, and category strategies that include segmentation of categories and commodities as well as rationalize with global perspectiveManage global category team members, interface with Citi business leaders, and oversee cross regional projectsImplement strategic direction with suppliers, negotiate contracts/master agreements, and model total cost of ownership as well as build strategic supplier relationships leveraging supplier involvement and integrating the supply chainDrive diversity spend within commodity category, direct the global commodity/sourcing strategies in assistance of strategic initiativesEnsure global leads liaison with business representatives, team members, category leaders, and procurement managers in defining the specifications and sourcing strategiesManage deliverables to an established timeline, service delivery level and savings targetEstablish procurement sourcing global standards and best practices, recommend new work procedures, and develop new procurement processes, supervise the sourcing process and prioritize sourcing programsHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.Ability to manage teams.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.Qualifications: 6-10 years of relevant experienceCertified Purchase Professional such as CPM or CIPS preferredExperience in leading strategic sourcing programsExperience within a large, multi-national organizationWorking knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and eProcurement tools (e.g. Oracle, Procure-to-Pay, eAuction, eRFX)Demonstrated strategic sourcing/procurement skillsDemonstrated stakeholder management and influencing skillsDemonstrated leadership and project management skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationEducation: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferred-Experiencia en contratación de productos /servicios.
