Mission of the Role: Support Supplier Relationship Managers with transforming the supplier quotes into purchase orders by validating adherence to process approval requirements. Key accountabilities / How You Will Spend Your Days Closely partner with Global SRMs "Supplier Relationship Managers" who are responsible for supplier sourcing. Provide complete sourcing documentation to SRM that adhere to the key deliverables, Engage suppliers and cross functional teams where key process check points are not complete or need deviations. Review and understand the sourcing supplier matrix on semiconductor categories and subcategories which includes preferred, approved, and non-preferred suppliers. Develop relationships with Program Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing/Logistics and Finance. Confirm PO issuance and send to supplier. Key Performance Indicators Develop knowledge of Visteon process and systems Learn Visteon, Suppliers, and technology. On-time Purchase order execution Facilitate supplier issue resolutions. Support "SRMs" at Sourcing Boards Key Year One Deliverables: Improve PO execution time by 10% from the Quote received. Improve accuracy of FTT (First Time Through) Become an effective member of the global team Develop relationships with global stakeholders and key suppliers Technical Knowledge and Skills Min 3-5 years of working experience in procurement. Experience with QAD Knowledge of key attributes of Purchase orders Ability to prioritize requests to meet on-time deliverables. Negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders. Effective presentation skills and strong communication skills. Strong communicator who is fluent in English (written and speaking).
