**Job Description**:
- Special process engineer for manufacturing and process development
Focus on laser welding.
- Take responsibility: You will develop capable You will develop capable laser welding processes so that they meet the highest quality requirements processes so that they meet the highest quality requirements.
Furthermore, you are responsible for process availability in prototyping and series production.
- Think holistically: You are responsible for the laser welding processes within an SE team.
In doing so, you ensure the quality of process development throughout the entire product development process.
You will support the production of limit samples and the preparation of process FMEAs.
- Conscientious implementation: You sustainably transfer the know-how to the responsible manufacturing areas.
You will also be involved in the preparation of specifications for the ordering of machines (MAE) and thus create the basis for robust series production.
- Willingness to travel outside of Mexico for several weeks
**Qualifications**:
- Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or electrical.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
- Experience in automotive industry.
- Personality: high level of engagement, ability to work in a team and very good understanding.
- Working style: independent, analytical and responsible way of working
- Experience and Know-How: extensive experience with laser welding for automotive products.
- Development of manufacturing processes, taking into account the functional requirements of the product, manufacturability and the existing process and component kit that is to be developed
- Coordination of the requirements for manufacturing processes from the functional product requirements and from the interactions between the processes
