**Job Description**:
- Special process engineer for manufacturing and process development
Focus on Resistance Welding.
- Take responsibility: You will develop capable resistance welding processes so that they meet the highest quality requirements.
Furthermore, you are responsible for process availability in prototyping and series production.
- Think holistically: You are responsible for the resistance welding processes within an SE team.
In doing so, you ensure the quality of process development throughout the entire product development process.
You will support the production of limit samples and the preparation of process FMEAs.
- Conscientious implementation: You sustainably transfer the know-how to the responsible manufacturing areas.
You will also be involved in the preparation of specifications for the ordering of machines (MAE) and thus create the basis for robust series production.
- Willingness to travel outside of Mexico if needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Education: successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, electric engineering, or similar
- Language: very good English language skills
- Experience in automotive industry
- Personality: high level of engagement, ability to work in a team and very good understanding
- Working style: independent, analytical and responsible way of working
- Experience and Know-How: experience with resistance welding processes as hot stacking and projection welding, as well as in statistical test planning and related quality evaluation methods.
Preferred knowledge of Miyachi, Amada and Peco equipment for resistance welding.
