.Overview: STATEMENT:Mainly daily functions, which are not limited to: Ensuring that his team properly perform the GL Accounting records for the entities/business units assigned of the North America and Mexico región, and in accordance with Company's Policies and Local and USGAAP Accounting frameworks; Ensure that team prepare proper and timely reconciliation of Accounting Templates for the North America and Mexico región and review of such reconciliations. Ensure that team prepare proper reports and information requested by Corporate and timely delivered in accordance to a calendar; Liason with Corporate and Regional Controllership for generation of metrics and análisis and Liason with Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable, Cost Accounting and Payroll team.Scope: North America and Mexico RegionDETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:- Supervise, Support and coach the assigned Accounting Team- Ensure team properly record the Journal Accounting entries.- Ensure proper validation of Journal Entries throughout his team.- Ensure Accounting Reconciliations are done properly and timely- Ensure that reconciling ítems within the reconciliations are follow up and corrected.- Ensure Accounting manuals are created and updated accordingly.- Ensure team adhere to establish SLA to ensure meet deadlines.- Ensure team prepares proper reports and information requested by Corporate and timely delivered in accordance to a calendar.- Ensure proper workload among the team.- Ensure training of the team and generation of backups.- Able to effectively and timely communicate with different levels of the Company,- Liaison and address requests for information from Internal & External Auditors.- Ensure that activities, processes, task and procedures are performed within the Company's Policies and Procedures and SOX Frameworks.- Assist with other related tasks and deliverables on an as needed basis.- Understanding and adhering to policies and procedures to maintain effective internal controls.- Having a controls-based mindset and ensuring SOD guidelines are met without exception.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Staff III 3Job Qualifications:REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**Skills**:- Accounting, Internal Controls, and SOD,- Microsoft Excel Advanced- Ability to be a team player- Ability to adapt to who evolves the Organization- Strong client orientation.- Attention to detailsLanguages:- Advanced English, 90% (spoken and written)**Experience**:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting- Experience in a big 4 accounting firm (Senior 2nd year)- 2-3 years' experience in accounting and Experience in a GBS- Knowledge in Accounting, Internal Control and Taxes- Experience on Microsoft (Excel, Power Point, Word).- Ability to consistently perform and process financial information- Ability to manage accounting staff and create a good working environment.- Ability to solve practical and critical problems.- Ability to distribute the workload among the team
