We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cross-Border Services Specialist.Key Responsibilities:Customs Compliance: Ensure compliance with customs regulations and requirements for cross-border shipments. Coordinate with customs officials, brokers, and clients to ensure proper documentation and smooth clearance of goods.Documentation and Record-Keeping: Prepare and review shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations. Maintain accurate records of cross-border transactions and update internal databases.Cross-Border Logistics Coordination: Coordinate and manage cross-border shipments, including transportation, freight forwarding, and delivery processes. Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods across borders.Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges in cross-border operations, such as trade compliance issues, delays, or disruptions. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure smooth cross-border operations.Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships. Keep clients informed about the status of their cross-border shipments and provide timely updates.Compliance with Regulations: Stay updated on cross-border trade regulations, customs laws, and international trade agreements. Ensure adherence to legal requirements and provide guidance to internal teams and clients on compliance matters.Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in cross-border operations.
