THE ROLE:
The Specialist, Global E-learning is accountable for supporting the Talent Management global strategy of Herbalife. Specifically, they are responsible for the coordination, design and development, and implementation of e-learning deliverables that support the Global Organization Development, Global Learning & Leadership, and Global Training & Onboarding functions and the business.
They are a member of the Global Talent Management team and will provide technical expertise to the team focusing on e-learning. This position will understand priorities, objectives, and challenges to be able to support content development across the various functions and recommend appropriate solutions.
Responsibilities and tasks associated with the role
- Partner with the Organization Development, Learning & Leadership, and Training & Onboarding functions to support their e-learning training needs and also those of the business
- Gather information and content from external sources, internal departments, HRBPs, etc.
- Consider regional and global needs regarding content, languages, and cultural differences
- Identify appropriate medium - e-learning, videos, clickable PDFs, job aids, blended learning solutions
- Develop storyboards and scripts as appropriate when designing e-learning solutions
- Follow Herbalife Branding guidelines for colors, text style, images and layout and review e-learning solutions with Branding and Legal to ensure solutions meet Herbalife requirements
- Conduct quality review of deliverables - proofread and edit work for quality, readability and consistency
- Pilot e-learning solutions with appropriate audience and further edit as needed
- Use Articulate software as a primary e-learning development tool
- Ensure content developed is compatible with the LMS and upload and configure e-learning content
- Stay current with and support the LMS administrator with new LMS functionality as needed
- Build relationships with e-learning vendors to ensure tools are used effectively
- Support HR related compliance training as appropriate (e.g., Employee handbook)
- Develop reports and usage metrics on e-learning solutions in the Herbalife University
- Track evaluation results and incorporate feedback from employees and business partners regarding the e-learning's effectiveness, incorporating recommendations to meet changing business needs
- Stay current on emerging instructional trends and technologies related to e-Learning
- Support additional projects and ad hoc assignments as required by Talent Management and/or the business including lending assistance to tasks unrelated to specific job responsibilities
Job Qualifications:
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Applied knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and linkage to learning outcomes
- Experience developing e-learning solutions
- Excellent communication (written & oral) and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service focus, to both internal & external customers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organized with strong problem solving skills
- Proven ability to work in a demanding environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Self-motivated with the ability to respond quickly to changes in project priorities

- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Experience using training software such as Articulate Storyline
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Maintain confidentiality of department, employee, and Human Resources information
- Minimum three (3) years of related experience in Human Resources, Training or Talent Management
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in e-learning and designing content
Education
- Bachelor's in Instructional Design, Communication, Education, Marketing, or related field or experience.
