Job SummaryThe Specialist, Hazard Communication (HazCom) is responsible for hazard and transport classifications for documents including Safety Data Sheets, Labels, Dangerous Goods Transportation and Poison Center Notifications.ResponsibilitiesHazard and Transport Classification of products using data obtained via industry associations, vendors, regulatory mandates and the IFF Toxicology team. Classifications are completed daily based on priority.Authoring of SDS and GHS labels. Initial authoring plus updates.Poison control notification (PCN) as required for products marketed in the EU or Korea.Providing customer support for inquiries and specific document requests.
