About the Role Responsible for implementation and approval of Global Health & Safety Programs and benchmarks in Mexico in accordance with the Magna Health and Safety Global Policy and Programs.
Your Responsibilities Ensure the implementation of the corporate global OH&S programs in Mexico as the OH&S Legal Compliance Program. Implement the Magna audit and inspection Program for all Mexican Divisions. Provide trainings, advice and consulting for Mexican Divisions on Health and Safety. Assist Divisions with reporting Health & Safety incidents and regulatory site visits. Review and present the quarterly Division performance reports to the H&S Director on a quarterly basis. Provide Workers compensation information of all Mexican Division to the Workers compensation Manager. Provide support to all Mexican Divisions on Health and Safety preventive systems/issues questions. Notify applicable management and follow-up with the Division of all serious accidents (IMSS). Monitor/completion of Action Plan management in HSELinx. Coordinate Health, Safety and Ergonomics Conference for Mexican Divisions focused on corporate initiatives, regulatory updates, lessons learned, best practices, H&S updates. Who we are looking for Completion of a post-graduate degree at a master's level or professional designation; for example, Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems Auditor/Lead Auditor. Knowledge of Mexican and international occupational health and safety regulations and best practices. Knowledge, experience, and expertise in the successful implementation of occupational health and safety preventive systems. Good skills of leadership, communication, analysis, management, conflict management, problem solving, decision making, service attitude and commitment to this profession. At least ten years of proven experience and expertise in implementation of OH&S preventive systems. Your preferred qualifications Integrity. Leadership & Teamwork. Negotiating & Persuading.
