If you're up for challenging the status quo, join our team of pioneers and make your mark on the future with us.**Do you dare to make an impact?****YOUR ROLE**:- Located in our Global Business Solutions in Mexico City, the Payroll Specialist is primarily responsible for processing payroll and maintaining the employee database regarding salary and pay.- Due to the nature of the position, knowledge of local country tax and wage laws is an advantage along with excellent communication skills and computer literacy.- Supporting Henkel end-to-end payroll process from executing payroll system, reconciliation and validation, sending for approval and authorization, preparing bank file and post payroll reports.- Preparing and reviewing government reports and payments- Updating documentations and job aids.- Ensure that service commitment measured by KPIs is kept and met.- Maintain personnel database regarding salaries and oversee salary changes, deductions, bonus, etc.- Extract and analyse pre- and post-payroll reports (GL posting, variance analysis and HR reporting).- Establish and maintain a deep understanding of customer's requirements and their changing needs to ensure services delivered are as per contractual obligations and in accordance with SLAs.- Address and resolve employee queries related to the payroll system- Work closely with HR teams for process implementation and alignment- Work under pressure to accomplish due dates and payroll calendars following the established internal service agreements- Act as channel of communication between Local HR and the In-Country Partner Company.**YOUR SKILLS**- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in an payroll role- Fluent business English level- Previous background and experience in ERP modules and/or payroll software(s)- Desirable: Experience in Guatemala and Costa Rica payroll- Critical analytical thinking- Advanced ExcelHenkel is an equal opportunity employer.
