THE ROLE:
The Programme Specialist, Global Training and Onboarding is accountable for supporting the Talent Management global strategy of Herbalife. Specifically, they are responsible for the coordination, development and implementation of deliverables for the Global Training (technical/development/compliance) function within an assigned area of responsibility.
The Programme Specialist, Global Training and Onboarding will ensure coordinated project plans, tracking, content, tools and support required for successful learning are provided to the team (e-learning, documents, video, audio). They are a member of the Global Talent Management team and will provide technical and operational expertise to the team focusing on the continuous process improvement, quality, controls, etc. of training and onboarding content, materials and resources. This position will understand the priorities, objectives, and challenges to be able to support content development across learning needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
They will drive these efforts collaboratively with the business by establishing constructive partnerships with Global Business Services (GBS), Center of Excellence (COE), internal Herbalife clients and Regional Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) to evolve the current delivery model and prepare for future global expansion.
Responsibilities and tasks associated with the role
- Responsible for content development of training materials, output, quality & continual refresh of the LMS and other training and onboarding platforms, including Global Onboarding for Herbalife.
- Develop constructive partnerships with key stakeholders such as the GBS Centers, HRBP's and COE leaders. Partner and collaborate to understand needs and develop action plans.
- Responsible for coordinating and communicating all Training and Onboarding deliverables aligning with other Talent Management initiatives
- Maintain operational relationships with Training and Onboarding vendors
- Partner with GBS on Training and Onboarding procedures and deliverables including managing mySupport requests
- Oversee overall global compliance & governance related to Global Training and Onboarding
- Execute hands-on production and editing of multi-media training courses using training software such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Support the final production of multi-media courses, including translations, audio recordings, audio editing and video editing.
- Assist and partner in the development and deployment of content plans for global teams (video, education, web properties) to ensure content is fresh, relevant and delivered to the right audience.
- Continually create and manage the project timeline(s) by identifying project dependencies and critical paths and communicating that information to the management team.
- Support and develop course materials for instructor-led and/or online training tools and training program (i.e., resource guides, hands-on exercises, scenarios and assessments).
- Conduct quality review of all deliverables. Proofread and edit own work and work of others to improve quality, readability, consistency, and effectiveness of documentation.
- In addition to these specific responsibilities, the Programme Specialist is generally responsible for supporting the goals, values, and initiatives of the department and the company as needed. This may include lending assistance and time to vital tasks unrelated to the specific job responsibilities outlined above.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Applied knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and the linkage between design and learning outcome.
- Strong customer service focus, to both internal & external customers.
- Highly organized with attention to detail, and ability to solve problems, prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience supporting the management/implementation of HCM Talent Management processes and/or systems, including content management systems/processes and UX/UI Design
- Proficiency in video development and editing using Adobe After Effects, Final Cut and/or Premier
- Strong MAC/PC skills and expertise in MS Office, on-line websites
- Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
- Self-motivated with the ability to respond quickly to constant changes in their project priorities.
- Must be able to provide examples of prior work experience
- 5 years of experience in Instructional Design and Courseware Development principles
